The Alternate Routes GetAway

If you were there in 2019 or 2021, then you know. The Alternate Routes Getaway is a weekend away with like minded friends who want to relax, listen to their favorite band and that bands friends jam, collaborate and tell stories. You might even call it a pilgrimage. Only 240 tickets are sold in order to keep the weekend super intimate.

The Alternate Routes have chosen the Outer Banks of North Carolina as the backdrop for their getaway and have invited some of their favorite band friends to be a part of the weekend’s activities.  Koru Village & Spa in Avon NC will be base camp this year and it is right on the beach.  It is the perfect time of year to clear your head, relax and have some fun.  Maybe the most fun you can have with a mask on.

The official Charity of the Alternate Routes Getaway is Moms Demand Action. You will have the opportunity to support Moms Demand Action at the Alternate Routes Getaway though several fun raffles.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. Moms Demand Action campaigns for new and stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our families. Moms Demand Action has established a chapter in every state of the country and, along with Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Students Demand Action and the Everytown Survivor Network, it is part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country with more than 5 million supporters and more than 350,000 donors. The Songwriters Workshop is a special event taking place on Saturday during The Alternate Routes Get Away.  It is separately ticketed, has limited capacity and all the money raised will go directly to Moms Demand Action non-profit.  The Alternate Routes and their families are actively involved with this organization and it is one that is near and dear to their hearts.

During the Workshop you will have the rare opportunity to be an active participant in the creative process of writing a song with Tim and Eric. This newly created song will come to life on stage Saturday evening.
